January - February 2006 Meeting Highlights

January 25-26, 2006 Winkler, Manitoba
Written by: Lilybeth Santos
What an amazing two days we had in Winkler, Manitoba on January 25-26. The sun was shining and everyone was pumped up with energy from taking the supplements we provided in the meeting. We had 30 distributors in total some of whom traveled through icy slippery roads to get here. Thank you all for taking the time to attend our two-day Company Sponsored Training.
The first day consisted of motivational and encouragement speeches from our PRC level Distributors – Bob Nelson, Delores Mishleau, Edna Rogers, Jeff Kowalski, and Cynthia Thompson. They shared their personal success stories with everyone along with words of encouragement to get the group motivated. Bob mentioned his website (www.chiamerica.net or www.chicanada.net) that offered free hosting for life with no yearly charge for $200.00. All the trainers did a wonderful job and I'm glad I got to participate in the festivities. The day ended with the inspirational video of John Foppe – the man born with no arms.
On the second day, there was lots of information to be learned – from the Compensation Plan to Delores's presentation on Meetings to Closing Techniques with Brian Tracy. One particular topic that people seemed to enjoy was Peter’s presentation on 'Food Supplement Content and Benefits'. Peter was very informative and provided lots of research on the Chi Formula, Total Enzyme and Return 2 Nature products. He went over the SOQI Concept as well, and gave prizes away to those that answered his questions correctly on our products.
Jeff did a neat demonstration on energy and connectivity. He gathered everyone in a big circle and told us to hold hands. As we held hands in the circle, Jeff presented his Energy Ball, which looked like an ordinary ping-pong ball that had two small metal strips. When he put his finger on one metal strip another person touched the other. As we all continued to hold hands, the ball started flashing a red light and generated a sound resulting in energy being transferred from all of us to the ball. The Energy Ball was certainly correct because there was lots of energy in that training and we would just like to thank everyone once again for making the trainings a success.

A DSM was held in Regina on January 25, 2006. The turnout was excellent, in part due to the 2-day training that was held in Regina later that week. There were guests from Vancouver Island, Alberta and Manitoba as well as many from smaller locations in Saskatchewan. People were quite interested in the Return 2 Nature products. Lots of discussion was held after a great presentation by Supervisor Bob Hockings. Several people were impressed with the demonstration of the Chi Machine. Many people indicated they learned a lot from the presentation given by Janice Mierow with assistance from Ron Fell. The lucky winner of the Chi machine was Norm Schmallenberg.

The two-day Company Sponsored Training in Regina, Saskatchewan on January 27-28 was great. There was just over 40 distributors who attended and some of whom traveled from all over to attend. The trainers did a wonderful job yet again – Jeff Kowalski, Delores Mishleau, Edna Rogers, Cynthia Thompson and Claudette Jacques. They all shared wonderful ideas, feelings and approaches that encouraged positive motivation. Edna shared her personal story on how her dream came true last year by getting a new house courteous of HTE. They all had remarkable stories and it's always fantastic to hear how each of them got started with HTE and how they have become successful.
The two days covered many different topics. Jeff did an excellent presentation on the Compensation Plan illustrating examples to help everyone understand it. A major topic that people definitely seemed interested in was the SOQI Bed Set. Peter explained the development of the SOQI Bed, originating from Taiwan and showed pictures of the SOQI Stores that are being franchised in Taiwan, China and Japan. Cynthia gave some testimonials on the SOQI Bed and then Peter finished off by explaining the future of the SOQI Bed and some possible new promotions we might establish in April. People were disappointed that a SOQI Bed was not demonstrated and we sincerely apologize for not having one present at the trainings. However, in the upcoming month we will be back and this time we will have a SOQI Bed for display.
For both Winker and Regina Training Sessions, a binder of information was given to each distributor who attended. They are wonderful resources to have and refer to in the future if you require additional information. One thing I mentioned in both trainings is that an HTE Canada Product List would be available to purchase in colour for $7.50 for a pack of 10. This will be available shortly and is an excellent marketing tool to have and distribute to those interested in the HTE business.
We finished the training with leadership speeches from Cynthia and Jeff. Cynthia's slideshow presentation showed various photographs of her experiences with HTE. She’s been on quite a few adventures with HTE and recommended that people work hard for the incentive promotion we have coming in the future. HTE would like to take this moment to thank all of you. HTE distributors are who make HTE what it is and you all have been great!
January 29, 2006 Gimli, Manitoba
Hosted & Submitted By: Karen Foster
Our second DSM was held at the New Horizons 55+ Club in Gimli with 11 distributors and 22 guests attending. Verna Nicolls chaired, with Joan McClay, Sharon Holtz, and Karen Foster presenting company and product information interspersed with HTE video clips on the Chi Machine and HotHouse. Inspirational testimonies were given by Katharine Caines, Carol Stoyanowski, Valerie Zuk, Barbara Weik, and Joan McClay citing amazing improvements in a variety of conditions including lack of energy, pain, menstrual cramping/difficulties, arthritis, insomnia, leg discoloration, muscle stiffness and fibromyalgia. Attendees enjoyed trying out the machines and everyone hoped to win the ERE. Congratulations to Dennis Nicolls who was the lucky winner! Sincere thanks to HTE Canada for supplying us with such a great prize and for training us how to conduct a DSM. We are learning valuable lessons for future meetings: how to set up a meeting room to allow for late arrivals, to have presenters optimally visible and audible, making our presentations briefer with high enthusiasm and more testimonies which seem to be the most interesting part for our guests.

Another busy meeting, we had a full house, lots of excited people. Some were already proud owners of the Chi Machine or HotHouse or ERE, some had never heard of them. I presented an overview of the health benefits derived from using the Medical devices. Julie Hofseth shared her testimony with the group. This aroused much interest. We concluded by having the new ones try out the equipment.
January 29, 2006 Calgary, Alberta
Hosted & Submitted By: Joni Bradley; Sponsored by Gwen Troop with Guest Speaker Edna Rogers
Excitement vibrated through the air January 29/06 when a brand new group seeking information on the benefits of the HTE medical devices met at the Sheraton Cavalier in Calgary. The winner of the ERE was Renate Keffer. Renate was ecstatic! She plans immediately to purchase her own Total Health Spa and get involved in the business. Thanks to HTE we can offer these unique medical devices and encourage others to take advantage of the business opportunity. As my mother (Gwen Troop) says "Health is Not Expensive It is Priceless."
January 30, 2006 Dryden, Ontario
Hosted & Submitted By: Harriet Lyle
On January 30 at 7:00pm, the Kowality Inn was the Dryden setting for our HTE meeting. Harriet Lyle, Susan Sterling & Nancy Lesson shared their knowledge and information on our wonderful HTE products. Susan Beaudoin, who is coping with MS, gave us an inspiring testimonial on how the HotHouse and Chi Machine have enhanced the quality of her life. The lucky winner of the ERE draw was Edna Calvert. She was absolutely delighted. Although we only had 20 people, many of them were new to our products and everyone had such fun trying out the machines. It was a great meeting.
