I have friends in Australia. Is it possible for me to run my business there?

Why must I provide my Social Insurance number when I submit my Distributor Application?
Since there are monthly commissions that will be paid out to the Distributor that is the main reason HTE requires the Social Insurance Number. Commissions are another source of income that can be claimed when filing for income taxes and at the end of the year, HTE does provide a T4A with the amount of commissions earned during the year.

What happens when my commission check is different than my statement?
Many times commission adjustments are made due to returned products and bounced checks as well as charge backs. Contact member support, and we will explain your particular situation.

Do I receive a T4A at the end of the year on earnings?
Yes, HTE sends out T4As to all individuals with Social Insurance Numbers.
Corporations do not receive T4A. In the event that you lose your 1099 for tax purposes, please call Customer Service and request another one to be mailed to you.

Can I put the company's name on my personal literature?
HTE America's policies and regulations specifically require anyone wishing to use HTE company names, letterheads or logos to receive prior approval by HTE Corporate management. Contact our Member Support Team. This includes, but is not limited to, materials contained in the HTE Sales Kit such as literature, audio/video tapes, flyers and so on.

I placed my order from abroad. Do I have to pay duty?
Yes. HTE will only collect shipping fees. Customers themselves are responsible for paying duties, which vary from country to country.

I lost my HotHouse?warranty card. Can you mail me another one?
All information about your purchase is recorded in our computer system. The one-year warranty will be in effect from the date of purchase. Sending us the card is not necessary.

Does the Chi Machine?have an extended warranty?
All Chi Machines have a standard 2 year warranty, with options for an extended warranty up to 5 years at a very low price. The Chi Machine® and all HTE products also come with a Lifetime labor warranty as well.

What do I have to do to become exempt from paying sales or use tax on my orders?
The Distributor and/or customer need to supply HTE with the proper paperwork (retail license, sales & use tax certificate, business permit or any official document) given to you by the state explaining your tax-exempt status. This must be faxed to HTE along with the company form to be filled out.

I will be moving to Europe. Can I take my Chi Machine® and HotHouse® and use them there?
We manufacture both a 120V/60Hz Item #SS001C2 and a 220V,50Hz Item SS001A6 version of The Chi Machine Because The Chi Machine® motor does not function as well on a transformer, we do not suggest using the 120V/60Hz Chi Machine® in Europe. We recommend you acquire the 240V model. The HotHouse® is only manufactured in a 120V version but it can be used successfully in Europe as long as a transformer of sufficient capacity is used.

Does HTE have carrying bags specially designed for The Chi Machine® and HotHouse?

Can I watch TV or chat while swinging with the Chi Machine?
It is not suggested. While using The Chi Machine® your mind should be at complete ease, with your eyes closed and muscles relaxed. Looking to the side while using The Chi Machine® will put unnecessary strain on your neck muscles. With any type of massage, the best results come when you are totally relaxed. If you have not received Our Blending Body and Spirit CD, we highly suggest you order it to use along with The Chi Machine® The music has been designed to relax your mind meditatively.

I just had surgery. Is it safe for me to use the Chi Machine?
You should only use The Chi Machine® when your wound is closed and completely healed. The Chi Machine® should not be used during all stages of pregnancy. After labor, consult with your physician before restarting your routine.

Why should we remain lying still for two to three minutes after using The Chi Machine?
Most of the benefit occurs immediately after the machine stops. This is when you wil l feel the famous Chi Rush. It is at this time that the increased Oxygen will seek areas that need Oxygen and will replenish your cells and muscle tissue. Movement will only constrict your muscles, blocking the full absorption capabilities of Oxygen.

It has been verified and certified by the Medical Affairs Bureau in Japan and has been patented in many countries. It is also regulated by The FDA as a Class 1 Medical Device in the United States and regulated by Health Canada as a Class II Medical Device.

Why do you have to drink water before and after using the Chi Machine?
Drinking water before using The Chi Machine® will keep your body hydrated during the exercise. Drinking water after will aid your body in flushing out the toxins that were released from the exercise. Drinking Total Enzyme will also help in purifying your blood and help breakdown these toxins.
