President Karyn & Verle DeYong " Way out West, the Dakota ways, There's a tale that's told to this very day. Under the stars on dark prairie nights, Cowpokes gather ‘round the campfire light. Wrangler yarns have been spun and retold, But this story is one that never grows old. My name is Chuck Waggins and by golly I swear, This story is true, ‘cause I was right there. " It was back in '99 and we were driving a herd of Chi Machines from New York to the Dakotas. The Manager of the drive, Jim Larson and his wife Marlene, told us of some friends who would be mighty happy if we could show them these awesome machines. Seems Verle & Karyn DeYong had been through several maladies that had left them both disabled and unable to work. Our schedule was tight but we agreed to meet the DeYong's by the Mighty Missouri River and show them our wares. Verle & Karyn traveled from the Black Hills and met us at our campsite, where many weary travelers took rest before going on to the Hills of the western trail. When Karyn saw the Chi Machine and heard about all the wonderful experiences people were having, she had to try it then and there! So right there, in the middle of the camp, she lay on the ground and experienced her first Chi. It wasn't long before a crowd of other travelers had gathered ‘round and wanted to try it too. Two hours, and many test rides later, Verle finally got his turn. Well, I gotta tell ya, they were sold. Although the demand for our machines were high, we agreed to sell them one right out of our stock, and they ventured home to tell everyone they knew. Within a few short weeks, Karyn was able to sleep through the night without pain interrupting her sleep. Both she and Verle noticed an abundant increase in their energy. Karyn's blood pressure had dropped to a normal level and stayed there, and within 12 weeks she had lost 50 lbs. Now the most remarkable thing happened; Karyn was feeling so good that she was certain she could join the Chi drive, and get off disability. Sure enough, her and Verle joined the business and started telling everyone what they had found and what the HTE machines had done for them. In just 8 short months they had started their own Chi drive and made it to the President level! They loaded up their wagon and headed for parts West, North, South, and East to peddle their wares at every show they could find. They shared with everyone they could talk to about their disabilities and how the Chi Machine and Hot House had changed their lives forever.
